2006 Formula 1

Update 1.07 now available - The update fixes some minor bugs in the original mod, and provides more 2007 content for the beta 2007 mod included.

GP4Italia and GrandPrixX.com are very happy to announce the final version of The 2006 Mod is now available!

Thanks to all the contributing authors, and especially Zaz for getting us through the last few hurdles- it felt like winning a pokerstars game, after all the challenges we faced.

Bringing the best of GP4Italia's MegaPatch and Tony's 2005 mod, The 2006 Mod has many features, including:

• Over 80 different car versions in total
• Over 80 different helmets
• All 27 race drivers plus testers for all teams
• Test driver subset
• Almost every pit crew seen in 2006 - NT, Supermen and more
• Team specific pit pitprops
• Team specific steering wheels
• Team specific GPaedia
• Full, realistic performance and physics
• Comes with high, standard and low resolution to suit all PCs
• 2006 Trackpack with all 18 tracks - many PLUS compatible
• And like all CSM mods, very user customisable!

The Post Season subset seen in the beta has been replaced with a fully functional 2007 Mod!

Although the 2007 mod is short on content you will find pitcrews, pitprops, teamart, helmets, and atleast livery updates for all teams, and alot more.
